About Your Political Action Committee

Your Arizona Credit Union League's Political Action Committee advocates on behalf of its members, keeping watch on existing and potential laws and polices that significantly affect our members business and the credit union movement itself.

ACUL-PAC strives to educate Congress about our industry and guarantees that no decision is made that will affect our industry, good or bad, until our voice is heard.
Arizona Credit Unions Political Action Committee (ACUL-PAC) is a membership sponsored effort organized to support candidates running for federal and state House and Senate seats whose position on financial services and credit union regulation most closely represent the initiatives of the Arizona Credit Union System and its member credit unions. ACUL-PAC channels resources into the political races that will have the most impact on the financial services industry. The PAC is a voluntary, non-profit political action committee and operates independently of any political party.

ACUL-PAC is a vital part of the Credit Union Legislative Action Council (CULAC) the fundraising arm of the Credit Union National Association (CUNA)

ACUL-PAC is governed by a Legal and Legislative Committee, chosen from the ACUS membership, which sets basic policies regarding who will receive the PACs support.

To learn more about ACUL-PAC, the Legal and Legislative Committee, or becoming a Political Captain please contact Dan Herron, at (602) 264-6701 ext. 203 or dherron@azcreditunions.org

ACUL Grassroots Programs
The Advocacy team actively represents credit unions with members of the Arizona State Legislature and the Arizona congressional delegation, providing hands-on monitoring and lobbying of legislative issues of interest and/or concern to credit unions. Advocacy staff works closely with the legislative, communication and regulatory staffs of CUNA, as we coordinate lobbying activities relative to Arizona congressmen and provide comments on pending regulatory matters.
