Your Arizona Credit Union League advocates on behalf of its members, keeping watch on existing and potential laws and polices that significantly affect our members business and the credit union movement itself.

We strive to educate Congress about our industry and guarantees that no decision is made that will affect our industry, good or bad, until our voice is heard.

Improving accessibility, streamlining communications, information access and increasing collaboration. These and other challenges are prompting credit union's at all levels to develop new and improved methods of staying in touch and accessing critical information. For that reason we have developed the Arizona Credit Union League Political Action Center.  Increasing overall productivity of our government affairs department and planning for continuity of the credit union movement have never been more important.

We are the point where the Credit Union National Association (CUNA), the Arizona Credit Union League (ACUL) and the over 1.5 million members of credit unions in Arizona come together to demonstrate their commitment to the preservation of credit union uniqueness through political action.

ACUL-PAC is governed by a Legal and Legislative Committee, chosen from the ACUS membership, which sets basic policies regarding who will receive the PACs support.

The Advocacy team actively represents credit unions with members of the Arizona State Legislature and the Arizona congressional delegation, providing hands-on monitoring and lobbying of legislative issues of interest and/or concern to credit unions. Advocacy staff works closely with the legislative, communication and regulatory staffs of CUNA, as we coordinate lobbying activities relative to Arizona congressmen and provide comments on pending regulatory matters.
